Bank robbery

Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred this afternoon in North Las Vegas.

Officers responded at about 2:15 p.m. to a Bank of America branch at 1933 W. Craig Road.

Officers learned that the man drew a black, semi-automatic handgun on a teller, demanded money and then fled on foot, police said.

North Las Vegas detectives described the man as black, about 20 years old, 5-foot-7-inches tall,and thin with a muscular build wearing a black shirt, white baseball shorts, a black hat with white writing, and black and white shoes.

Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call the North Las Vegas Police Department at (702) 633-9111, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
