Death investigation

Metro Police are searching for the 18-year-old son of a man and woman found dead in a mobile home in the eastern Las Vegas Valley on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said they are looking for Timothy Chester. A daughter of the victims found her mother with a knife in her neck and her father, lifeless, next to her at the Heritage Mobile Home Park, 1515 S. Mojave Road, near Boulder Highway and Fremont Street, police said.

Police were called to the scene at 4:25 p.m., officer Jay Rivera, a Metro Police spokesman, said. The names of the victims were not immediately released.

In addition, police are searching for a tan Dodge Journey with handicapped license plates bearing the number PH 76460. The vehicle had white baby shoes hanging from the rearview mirror. The Dodge was missing from the driveway of the mobile home, police said.

A gun might also be involved in this case, police said.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Chester or the vehicle is asked to call Metro’s Homicide Section at (702) 828-3521 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
