ACORN now a shell of its former glory

ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) is an organization in total disarray, led by over-the-hill militants who hang on to it because they need the paycheck.
Whatever principles or sense of integrity that once guided it disappeared long ago.
As a proud liberal who was once a member of ACORN and who represented Nevada ACORN at the national level, I am now sad over the state of this organization and I think it should crawl off and quietly die.

Newest headlines today are how harry Reid is protection ACORN. Our Senator is not allowing any Senate Committee to investigate or hold hearings on ACORN.
Harry, your on the wrong side. I know you switched your vote to show an aye after first voting no on cutting off funding, but you cannot tell the voters of this state you wont allow Senate investigation of ACORN.
How much of YOUR campaign fund comes from ACORN and their hundreds of affiliates? You have $11 million already of a hopeful $25 million to run for re election in this state. How much came from ACORN and our taxes?
