Letter to the editor:

Why Republicans are against ‘reform’

Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009 | 2:02 a.m.

Democrats have dubbed the Republican Party the “Party of No,” partly because Republicans oppose Democratic proposals for “reform” of the health care industry.

But Republicans do not oppose health care reform. They want to lower barriers to competition. They want to level the playing field for employers and individual consumers of health care. They want to use market-based reforms to put more decisions in the hands of patients. They want to use competitive markets to lower costs and improve quality.

What Republicans oppose are the heavy-handed, government-mandated controls proposed by the Democrats, whose “reforms” include mandatory purchase of health insurance by employers and individuals, prohibitions on denial of coverage for, or even risk-based pricing of, preexisting conditions, and elimination of coverage caps.

These mandates will force premiums up for everyone. But then Democrats want to create a government-run option, unaccountable to shareholders and exempt from taxes, that will squeeze private insurers to the point that they cannot stay in business. Republicans understand what the Democrats’ goal is: single-payer, socialized health care.

Republicans believe that America’s greatness comes from the freedom of individuals to pursue their own happiness. They believe government’s proper role is to protect the free markets in which that pursuit takes place.

Democrats today no longer believe in individual freedom to pursue happiness. They believe, out of professed compassion, that individuals are responsible for the happiness of others, and that government must play the role of protector for victims of villainous businessmen and, in doing so, must restrict the freedom of everyone. It is to this that Republicans say “No.”

  1. "But Republicans do not oppose health care reform."
    Utter nonsense.
Republicans have never had Health Care reform as an agenda item, ... ever. They would not talk about it now except that Democrats are again forcing the issue. If Republicans should succeed yet again in scuttling the program (as they did when Clinton was President) and should they then retake control in 2012, do you really think they will then propose their own plan? You do? Honestly? You're joking of course.

  2. McCord has it right.

  3. Your letter will be bashed as it uses facts instead of talking points as the left desires. No facts, just generalities.

  4. hey rich...
what about talk of death panels...
    hmmm...
    pure crap...
repeated by even the most senior senators from the stupid pathetic lying republican party...
    what about that skippy...
what about talk of funding abortions...
    hmmm...
    pure crap...
repeated over and over by the stupid pathetic lying republican party...
    what about that skippy...
    bottom line...
the stupid pathetic lying republican party is full of stupid pathetic republican liars...
seems to me you need to look in the mirror first before you start hurling insults across the aisle...
    because until you do that...
you can not be taken seriously!!!

  5. Hey birdie- until the dems put it in writing - no abortions, no death panels, no to illegal immigrant care, why would anybody believe it. The bill is so full of inuendos its disgusting and open to interpertation by the new "health czar and all his cronies". Whats wrong with putting it in black and white so you libs cannot stretch the meaning to suit your own purpose?? Just like Obama has now said, the illegals are not covered because he wants to make them all legals so they will be covered - great plan - we can all pay for them - but you won't have to pay as your on the gov't gravy train, let the rich pay more, right birdie???

  6. Not credible. If Republicans wanted what this columnist claims, they could have offered legislation or amendments to legislation to effect these changes. But they have not for one simple reason: they do not want reform.

  7. PenPal - do you read this electronic paper ?? Did you see this article? "Ensign will offer 30 tweaks to health care bill". Your comments are just dem talking points, no substance.

  8. Many people don't understand that getting a law passed through both the house and senate and signed by the President is only the beginning. Once a law is passed then federal bureaucrats begin working on the regulations that define and intepret the law. If something is not clearly stated in the law then those who develop the regs have unbelieveable latitude in how the law is enforced.
In light of Washington's current liberal/socialist leanings, is it no wonder that republicans are skeptical and resistant? Obama and company has been exasperatingly vague in discussing the details and recognizing the potential ramifications of their bill. Their attitude of, "just trust us, pass the bill, we'll work out the details later" appears naive at best and nefarious at worst.

If we fail to control what goes into the law up front, we'll be impotent to stop any unintended (or intended) consequences in the end.
Although some republicans have presented alternatives, they need to make a better effort.

  9. The unvarnished truth is Republicans see an opportunity to damage Democrats in the health care debates - it is their Waterloo moment, as DeMint said. Only the naive and simple minded could fall for this grossly partisan flight from reality. Democrats are proposing measures to increase competition, lower premiums, raise standards, promote prevention and cover all Americans. If they were to impose BIG GOVERNMENT they would have gone with the single payor system. The US is saddled with the most inefficient and costly systems in the industrialized nations and it is the only one that is 100% private for profit (excepting Medicare/aid) and the results are below average, with many left uninsured. Democrats want a free, open and transparent market - not the outrageously expensive corrupt profit grabbing, CEO megasalaried corporations that monopolize and gouge American businesses and individuals. Republicans have never offered anything other than the status quo when it comes to health insurance reform.

  10. If the current administration could ram the single payer system through Congress, they would had several months ago.

The Congressional Democrats are now on the run. They are caught in the middle of the administrations socialist policy and angry constituents who want their voices heard.

  11. Why Republicans are against 'reform' - Richard McCord, Henderson

Kudo's to Richard McCord of Henderson for telling it like it is.

    Why, do you ask?

It's because it is exactly how I personally view the problem.

Yet, believe me when I say that I do understand that persons with other world views will attempt to rationalize the thoughts of Mr. McCord in an effort to integrate what was said with their own personal beliefs.

I have a suggestion for all, take off your partisan shoes, and walk in the shoes of another for a day. I am not suggesting that anyone needs to change their political views; I am just suggesting that in order to understand a conversation one needs to learn how to listen and comprehend what is being said.

Mr. Richard McCord was being strait-up in his comments, he was being honest. Take what he said at face value, and don't interject the talking points of some dishonest left or right winger into his arguments.

You see, the TEA parties are not a fringe movement of any political party; they are a grass roots non-partisan Jeffersonian movement of people, which are inspired by the principles of individual freedom and a Constitutional Government. That is not to say; that those in power on the far right are not involved . . . they are, as they are attempting to harness that movement for their own political gain.

And it is not to say these TEA party people are against Socialism, as socialism has been with us since the beginning of recorded history. But, where Socialism existed and worked was within the family, the church and the private sector community. It is only when Government attempted to replace the Church, community and family in the role of provider that Socialism failed. We do need Socialism, but we also need to keep the Government out of Socialism for it to work.

  12. Why would anyone believe that the Republican Party is in favor of Health Care reform or competition is beyond me. What they are in favor of is lining the pockets of insurance companies, drug companies and medical industrial complex businesses that contribute Millions to Republican campaign coffers. Even Ensign's 30 "tweaks" don't add competitive provisions, they are purely political sniping like changing the word "fee" to the word "tax". Ya that adds competition that will save consumers/taxpayers money!

Republicans have managed to convince libertarians that they are of the same mind but nothing could be further from the truth. Republicans passed the Medicare Drug benefit of 2003 which prohibits Medicare from negotiating drug price reductions. This provision is the single biggest reason by Medicare is heading for insolvency, not the fact that Medicare insures seniors. The problem with government run insurance isn't the fact that the government runs it, but the fact the Republicans, put in so much pro-buisiness anti competitive benefits for their corporate constituencey, that most programs are doomed from the outset.

You want smaller lower-cost government, get rid of $360,000,000,000 worth of farm subsidies that is a republican boondoggle. You want smaller lower cost government, get rid of the bureaucracy it takes to enforce 'No Child Left Behind'. You want smaller lower cost government, pull the armed forces out of the middle east, convert cars and power plants to natural gas, and watch the price of petroleum plummet by as much as 50%. The problem is that all these solutions impact on the business that support Republican candidates. So the Republican party sells kool aid to libertarians and conservative Christians so they'll think that all government programs are inherently evil.

    Drink up.

  13. brownln4: "Ensign will offer 30 tweaks to health care bill".

Ensign's frivolous ammendments will be immediately rejected as usual, even by Republicans. He introduces these bogus ammendments to get some credibility with the dim witted. Only problem is, he really believes he is contributing. What an empty suit!
Remember Ensign considers himself "better than us." You maybe, but not me.

  14. The Republicans are offering bogus amendments to try, again, to kill the bill.

Like Orrin Hatch, who proposed an amendment exempting any states beginning with the letter "U."

That's not a joke, he actually proposed that amendment.

The Republicans aren't serious about health care reform. They aren't serious now, they weren't serious half a decade ago when they couldn't even muster the intestinal fortitude to negotiate prices with the drug companies.

That was their great idea. Let the drug companies screw Americans with outrageous drug prices. That was their idea for reform.

They controlled all three levels of government and that was the best they could do. They aren't serious about reform.... never were.

  15. PS, HSS, Democrats EXPANDED the farm subsidy program when they took power.

Both parties are full of self-interested crooks.

  16. This is the misinformation ghost (and others) are trying to peddle)

On one had it appears as though Republicans are the only ones increasing the national debt: http://www.lafn.org/gvdc/Natl_Debt_Chart...

but this looks at the debt as a percentage of GDP.

Take a look at the size of the national debt:
    http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/inflat...

They look a lot different. This second one is inflation adjusted national debt. Period.

Now if you know your history you'll know that a series of welfare programs began in the 60s, including Medicare and the war on poverty. Both have been disastrous in terms of containing costs. These programs have risen considerably faster than almost any other government program.

And look at BUSH II. Its NOT just the War in Iraq and Afghanistan that is driving spending. And its NOT just Social Security and Medicare. GWB doubled (or at least approved of) expenditures for education, welfare, healthcare and transportation during his tenure.

BIG Government, driven, approved, fronted, and pushed by BOTH parties, is driving up the national debt.

  17. YOU LIE!!!!!!!

Republican'ts simply want to derail Obama. It is ALL about the politics and nothing about reform.

That over-cooked turkey Boehner would let his grandmother die before he accepted ANY plan!

The right wing conservative whack jobs that have seized control of the GOP (and would love to seize control of the gov't) have chosen this issue to 'break' Obama.

And considering most of that constituency of goof balls (as seen by the many video clips shown on TV) are overweight and angry to a point of being near a cardiac arrest at any moment and they truly need the health care reform. But they are also the ones following the drug addicted fat man and completely psychotic nut case Glenn (the Clown) Beck.

Personally, I hope health care fails, insurance rates go so high that none of the losers on the right wing fringe can afford it, and they all have heart attacks and stop bothering the rest of us. I hope the drug addicted fat man and goof monkey Beck are the first ones in the cardiac room.

  18. of course with the debt as a percentage of the GDP you can back up a few years and change the picture slightly: http://zfacts.com/metaPage/lib/National-...

  19. But if you are really smart and know you're American civics you know the President doesn't create spending congress does.

Reagan and Bush had Democrats controlling congress. Republicans took control 2 years into Clinton's presidency (and you'll notice the decline thereafter) Bush lost one house in 04 and the other in 06 though the increase in debt as a percentage of the GDP remains, largely, the same.

  20. Hss46 wrote:

"Republicans have managed to convince libertarians that they are of the same mind but nothing could be further from the truth."

    Hmmm . . . not true . . . let me add a thought

Classic Liberals and Libertarians recognise that in the current political two party system, a third party does not have any chance of getting elected. Thus, many Classic Liberals and Libertarians choose to enter politics as Republicans, just as the Religious Right did in the 1980's.

In that way, Classic Liberals and Libertarians take power away from those currently in the Republican Party. As an example, think of the supporters of Ron Paul and their efforts to take the Republican Party during the primary. In Nevada, they did a pretty good job of disrupting those in power in the Republican Party, and did cast a shadow on the entire Republican Primary process.

To sum this all up, yes Hss46, Classic Liberals and Libertarians do understand that they do not have the same mind set as the current bunch running the Republican party, and they are doing something about it.

The TEA parties are just another non-partisin movement that is headed in the same direction as those who support Ron Paul. I do believe we are witnessing the beginning of a revolution that will take this country back to its classic liberal political roots.

  21. lemahj is right on the mark. The extremes of both parties are about to learn what happens when their elected officials don't listen to the people who keep them in office.

The extremes of both parties are nothing but hot air. They make a lot of noise, but can't muster the vote.

The middle, the independents including those Libertarians will soon take justice on those who they put in office if they don't mind their way.

The power of both political parties will fade as the sufficient middle brings them down to their knees.

So, good going lemahj, you are right on the mark. Just watch out for the baiters as they slink around here, waiting to pounce on anyone whose right.

  22. McCord says "They (Republicans) believe government's proper role is to protect the free markets in which that pursuit takes place."
Democrats think government's role is to protect the health and welfare of the people.
Please show us where the constitution mentions either free markets or capitalism?

lemahj says: "The TEA parties are just another non-partisin (sic) movement that is headed in the same direction as those who support Ron Paul." Excuse me, Non-partisan? These are merely the rabble roused by Fox and their talking heads. Republicans, who claim that Government is inept and corrupt, are dying to grab the reins back in order to continue proving their theory.

  23. If Stan was a FOX NEWS viewer, he would have heard many Democrats were at the Tea Parties.

The "Tea Party" people never had the reins of power. This is why they had to go public to get their voices heard.

Both the Republican and Democratic parties main objective is to fill their coffers with cash, and they don't care from whom. Their platforms are no more than a way to raise money. Once in office they will continue their ways, regardless of those who put them in office.

  24. Stan, please show me in the Constitution where it says "public option" "public education" "corporate subsidies" etc, etc, etc

  25. StanG:

Philosophy drove the contents of the Constitution, not the other way around. America's philosophy has always held that individuals are free and have a right to pursue their happiness. The Constitution established a government that would protect individuals' freedom to do that. It says nothing about controlling peoples' lives and confiscating their wealth to give it to others, as you would like it to. It doesn't mention health at all. And its only reference to welfare is in the context of promoting the peoples' ability to improve their lives.

  26. Republicans killed reform in the early 90's. When they regained power they made no effort to reform. Now that they have lost power they are trying to kill reform again.

Just because the Republicans say they are something doesn't mean they are. Actions speak louder than words.

The Republicans also say they are fiscally conservative, but the only president in my lifetime to eliminate a federal deficit was Clinton. They might have been fiscally conservative when my parents or grandparents were young, but as far as I can tell that all died with Reagan's presidency.

  27. I'm not sure what Vegas Engineer means when he speaks of "reform" but I suspect it might entail me paying more taxes to provide more health care to those who I don't give a rat's butt about. If government had not got its incompetent rear into healthcare in the first place it would not be in the mess it is in now. Let's eliminate Medicare, Medicade and anything else the government is involved in and see if things get better. I bet it will, very quickly.

  28. VegasEngineer:

Clinton's budget "surplus" was on the unified budget, which included the Social Security surplus. Excluding the SS surplus, the Clinton budget was in deficit. Until 1985, SS was not included in federal budget figures. Because SS is money the government must eventually pay back out, it rightly should not be included.

  29. lazyfaire: I know the difference between federal debt and social debt. I consider federal debt, not social debt. When Clinton left office there was a budget surplus. The gross federal debt increased slightly that year due to interest paid on the outstanding 5.6T federal debt.

This is still beside the point that there hasn't been a fiscally conservative republican presidency in my generation Y lifetime. The republican party today doesn't at all resemble the one my parents and grandparents grew up with.

This is a very interesting read for those that enjoy facts as opposed to the fiction cited by pundits.

    http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/fy2...

  30. VegasEngineer:

Without the SS surplus, Clinton had a budget deficit, which you made part of your point.

  31. The liberal Democrats must be really proud of their latest act of hypocrisy and use of the double-standard. During the 2004 presidential campaign, Senator Edward M. Kennedy (D-MA) pressured the Massachusetts state legislature to enact a law that would prevent the governor (in that case, Republican Mitt Romney) to appoint someone to fill a vacant US Senate seat (presumably, if Senator John Kerry (D-MA) had been elected president). The state legislature complied with the senator's demand. But, now, that the Democrats are desperate to get a filibuster-proof Senate majority to ram through their "health care reform" legislation, the Massachusetts state legislature has repealed their own law and will now permit the Democrat Governor Deval Patrick to immediately appoint a Democrat (ironically) to the seat vacated with the death of Ted Kennedy instead of waiting for the regular election as had been stipulated in the previous legislation. Naturally, as usual, Democrats will use any devious subterfuge to promote their left-wing ideology.

  32. lazyfaire:

no. Clinton had a budget surplus. Interest on federal debt it not part of the budget.

    year: 2000
    receipts: 1,544,873
    outlays: 1,458,451
    surplus: 86,422

numbers according to the federal office of management and budget

  33. The Democrats may have the upper hand in this debate. They have very sound arguments like this one:

    hmmm...
    pure crap...
repeated by even the most senior senators from the stupid pathetic lying republican party...
    what about that skippy...
what about talk of funding abortions...
    hmmm...
    pure crap...
repeated over and over by the stupid pathetic lying republican party...
    what about that skippy...
    bottom line...
the stupid pathetic lying republican party is full of stupid pathetic republican liars...

  34. Kudos Richard McCord, finally someone published speaking the truth. Now comes the fun part, the lunatics will start calling you a racist.

As to you lunatics posting replies, really sit back and read what you're all saying, twiddle, dee and dumb. Not a single one of you have the knowledge to know the truth when it smacks you upside the head. Face it, Obama and clan will not be reelected and they're outta here in 2010 and 2012. America won't stand for their lying lunacy policies.

  35. Are you kidding me? Republicans are the most uneducated of the two parties.

They rely on Rush Limbaugh (who isn't even college graduated or couldn't even pass a class), Sarah Palin, and others alike.

Plus if you look at the demographics, they're no where near Democrats. For freaking sakes, Barack Obama is more educated than any person who is controlled by Faux News or the AM radio station news.

  36. mr__meowington said......

"Are you kidding me? Republicans are the most uneducated of the two parties.

They rely on Rush Limbaugh (who isn't even college graduated or couldn't even pass a class), Sarah Palin, and others alike."

Yep! I can't agree more. Limbaugh is an intellectual light-weight and Sarah Barracuda attended several community colleges and state colleges before they gave her a degree in order to get rid of her.

Sean Hannity was recently given an "honorary degree" from some "back-water tech." but other than that, no advanced degree for Hannity...

This is probably good for Limbaugh, Palin and Hannity...if they had an up scaled vocabulary at
their finger-tips, they would just confuse and lose most of their brain-dead followers....

  37. Plus Town Halls show their lack of intelligence. Calling Obama a "Nazi", "Socialist", "Facist", "Communist"? Really, you can't be all of them at the same time.

Go to college, learn, and than you're allowed to talk. Our Fuhrer Obama should limit free speech along with his Czars!!!!!! OMG!

  38. Education is overrated. Street smarts and your stomach will tell you what is the right thing to do.

  39. Phargo said.....

"Education is overrated. Street smarts and your stomach will tell you what is the right thing to do."

With that being said, maybe we should just close all of our colleges and universities....Think of the money that we could save......

If that should work well, we could then close the high schools.......followed by the elementary schools...

That would make us the richest but dumbest country in the world....Oop's. we're already that! So much for that plan....

  40. "Education is overrated. Street smarts and your stomach will tell you what is the right thing to do."

That's the path to our nation's ruin, way to go and promote that. That's worse than Socialism/Communism/Facism and seems to be the Republican way (especially when Pres. Obama was to give a speech to the school children regarding education).

  41. Do you people think there will ever be health care coverage for all Americans. Let me save you the suspense. NO,never,no way in hell. Lobbyist spend millions upon millions to make sure that politicians never change a Dam thing. All this argument between left and right is just a distraction to keep us divided. You don't become a politician by caring about people. You become a politician by pandering to corporations. As long as there is profit to be made, nothing will change. And we will continue to be the only civilized country in the world that lets its citizens go without medical care because somebody decided it was communism to insure all of its people.

  42. Most of the people who are wildly against health reform don't even realize how close they are to losing there health insurance under the current, incredibly corrupt system.

No, you are not fighting for the constitution. That's BS. You have been manipulated into working for wealthy insurance companies.

  43. This article is crazy talk.

The dumbacrats are afraid to pull the trigger and own their mistakes forever.

The article is correct in stating that the government is going force insurance companies out of business and in turn make insurance socialized.

This is the first step to full fledged socializm. Hope you dumbacrats are happy in 20 years from now when you will be bowing to the obamacare government.

Ask the people in N. Korea, China or any other crooked a$$ country how they feel!!!

  44. "This is the first step to full fledged socializm."

It's SocialiSm. Do you know what it is? I take it not since you just mentioned North Korea, China or any other "crooked" country. While they are in part socialist, also, I tell you this, go ask France, Canada, or Britain.

Just to let you know, we're not the most capitalist state around, we're a mixed economy. Heck, Hong Kong is more capitalist than we are and they're Chinese. How is a Public option socialized health care? You're still going to have your private insurance, keep it.

Lets not have Police, Public schools, or any kind of government service since it's all part of Obama's "socialist" agenda. Lets have everything cost us and no more taxes, is that your plan and idea? Not bad for the few us privileged rich.

Heck, we'll have an experimental Darwinistic approach: survival of the fittest. Good thinking!

We all feel safer under corporations whose main goal is profits. It's better than Government, right?

  45. mr__meowington, well said.....

I'm always amazed when the average Joe or Jane out there some how believes that we have no programs that are socialist in nature.

Social Security, Medicare, public education, federal aid to education, unemployment compensation, the Veterans Administration, TVA, Government grants to small business, the building and up grading of our infrastructure with federal tax dollars......the list of socialist programs goes on and on but yet naive, stupid, and uneducated "Joe & Jane" don't get it....

I guess the old adage saying "you can't fix stupid" pretty much explains why "Joe & Jane" continues to listen to right-wing talk radio & watch FOX NEWS.

"Joe & Jane".....that's the same two who says such things as "education is overrated. Street smarts and your stomach will tell you what is the right thing to do."

WOW! More flying pigs.....they're everywhere....they're everywhere...

  46. bigb said....

    "Al Gore is an idiot"

    And your point is???

  47. "WOW! More flying pigs.....they're everywhere....they're everywhere..."

Pig with lipstick. Barracuda I hear?

    "Al Gore is an idiot"

Well you do realize in the 2000 elections he won the popular vote. I bet he's smarter than you.

  48. EL LOBO = no thought no brain in english.

I am always amazed by your dumb comments especially when you say you support and hire illegals. Since your Mexican? I guess it all makes sense.

Your not even a Real American nor do you support America. Why bother living here? America was built on capitalism not socialism.

Your beloved government soon to be bigger than ever bought the banks, bought GM and is now buying health care.

Since you don't work and you live off the govt. I guess your loving it. Enjoy it for three more years moron.

  49. That's one of the reasons why Americans can't keep a civil debate, it's because of people like you, VegasInsider who think they're "patriotic" when in reality they're cowards.

"EL LOBO = no thought no brain in english.

I am always amazed by your dumb comments especially when you say you support and hire illegals. Since your Mexican? I guess it all makes sense."

Good job profiling that he's Mexican. Since all illegal immigrants are Mexican, nice job buddy, NOT. Just because you're not against illegal immigration doesn't make you Mexican. Your whole argument is void because of this, a classic fallacy, ad hominem. Used when a person can no longer provide facts in a debate/discussion or offer any intelligent feedback/response.

"Your not even a Real American nor do you support America. Why bother living here? America was built on capitalism not socialism."

Do you even know what Capitalism and Socialism are? Obviously you don't. We have a mixed economy, not a pure Capitalist one. Why do you think we have public schools, public hospitals, police, firefighters, veteran's affairs, financial aid, etc.? They're all social programs that are normally in socialist economies. I guess what you're trying to say is that we're a "democracy" not "communism" but you just don't know anything about politics, economy, etc.

"Your beloved government soon to be bigger than ever bought the banks, bought GM and is now buying health care."

I'm glad. I don't want to be run by corporations, much more dangerous than government itself.

"Since you don't work and you live off the govt. I guess your loving it. Enjoy it for three more years moron."

How do you know he doesn't work? Or that he lives off the government? Are you saying because of all the misconceptions of minorities? You see, this is a racial attack on someone you think is a minority because they support something you don't.

Try to have an open mind rather than assuming you know everything. Also, listen to someone else besides Dumb Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Hannity, etc. This is also the reason why the whole world hates us, we're not global citizens and we're too damn close minded and a reason why we're sinking down the drain in every field from education to health, etc.

  50. Is it true that Gore received a 500 million dollar guarantee from the U.S. Government to build cars in Sweden?

  51. These quotes are hilarious!

    Especially the internet one...

  52. VegasInsider said.....said......

"I am always amazed by your dumb comments especially when you say you support and hire illegals."

Where in any of my posts did I say that I support & I hire illegals? Go back and read again what I said. I said I support legal immigration and we need to close our borders.

Your statement that "all illegal immigrants are Mexican" shows how little you really know!

You're statement saying that I'm "not even a Real American nor do I support America. Why bother living here? America was built on capitalism not socialism." clearly shows that you don't have a clue about me or anything I stand for....

Continue with your rant......after all, one can't fix stupid & we clearly know who the stupid one is......don't we?

  53. If you're going to state being a "real American" please enlighten us with your definition of it. Bunch of ignorant people who can't even define "politics", why bother arguing or debating with them, intellectually weak. Lets go Social Darwinism.

  54. EL LOBO

I see you got a new boyfriend in mr meowinton.

You guys will be happy together!!

  55. "I see you got a new boyfriend in mr meowinton."
