Kim Kardashian keeping quiet about Khloe’s beau

Kim Kardashian was on hand to help open up Pink’s Hot Dogs Friday night at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
Yes or no? It’s not a difficult question.
Yet Kim Kardashian refused to say last night whether her younger sister, Khloe, is engaged to L.A. Lakers forward Lamar Odom.
“I’m not commenting on Khloe and Lamar right now,” she said while attending the opening of Pink’s Hot Dogs at Planet Hollywood.
Rumors began swirling on Thursday about Khloe Kardashian and her basketball-playing beau. While E! News reported the two were discussing engagement rings, People.com suggested yesterday that an engagement ring was already on the youngest Kardashian sister’s finger.
“Khloe Kardashian to Marry L.A. Lakers Player,” the People.com headline proclaimed. The subsequent story cited two unnamed sources and stated, “the couple are currently planning their wedding.”
While last night’s red carpet event at Planet Hollywood may have seemed like the perfect place to set the record straight, the middle sister of the scandal-prone, attention-loving Kardashian trifecta was uncharacteristically quiet.
“I can’t confirm or deny,” the small screen star-slash-socialite smiled.
Yet it’s not a lack of knowledge that kept Kardashian from commenting. She apparently spent the better part the day with her little sister before coming to Las Vegas for last night’s event.
“I was with her all day, we had a photo shoot,” she said.
The brunette beauty did, however, say that she approves of her little sister’s boyfriend-slash-possible-fiancé.
“Lamar is an amazing person,” she said, adding, “He’s got to know all of us, we’ve all spent a lot of time with him.”
All in all, “he’s a good guy,” she concluded.
Kardashian also revealed that her possible future brother-in-law will be coming to Las Vegas today, along with the rest of the Kardashian brood.
The decidedly un-Bradylike bunch will watch the Mayweather-Marquez matchup together tonight at MGM Grand.
Though Kardashian admittedly didn’t know the names of the fighters who will face-off in the ring this evening, she said she will root for the underdog, whoever that may be.
Khloe Kardashian, 25, has been dating the 29-year-old L.A. Laker for about a month now. Previous to this, she was linked to Rashad McCants of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Neither of the two lovebirds have been married, though Odom has two children with former longtime girlfriend, Liza Morales.
Kim Kardashian previously said her sister and Odom are "very, very happy.”
“They've been together a few weeks, and are literally inseparable,” she told People earlier this month. “Khloe thinks he's amazing and makes her laugh and smile constantly."
While Kim Kardashian has dabbled in dating professional athletes, she recently swore off sporty guys. The 28-year-old has self-imposed a “no more athletes” rule, which effectively dashes any hopes of a reunion with her ex, New Orleans Saint Reggie Bush.
One thing that is guaranteed, however, is that all eyes will be on the Kardashian clan this evening.
Kardashian ended last night’s Khloe-engagement talk on a playful note.
“We’re going to see how it unfolds,” she said, flashing yet another sweet-yet-coy smile.
Will there be a ring, or will there be a bare finger? Only time (and good celeb-scoping vision) will tell.
