Police: Strip hit and run might involve airport shuttle
Friday, Sept. 18, 2009 | 10:55 a.m.
A pedestrian struck by a vehicle on the Las Vegas Strip about 10:30 p.m. Thursday might have been hit by an airport shuttle, Metro Police said.
The man was in front of Bally's hotel and casino at the time of the incident, said Officer Barbara Morgan, a spokeswoman for Metro Police.
He was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, police said. The man is a tourist but police didn't know his hometown.
Police investigators are reviewing videotapes to determine whether it was an airport shuttle and which company the possible shuttle belonged to, Morgan said.
