Metro Police are asking for the public's help in identifying and finding a man suspected in a sexual assault that occurred early Saturday morning.
The assault occurred in the area of Rainbow Boulevard and Desert Inn Road in the western part of the Las Vegas Valley, police said. Police released a sketch artist's drawing of the man this morning.
Police are searching for a black man in his late 20s to early 30s. He is about 5-foot-9-inches tall, weighs about 200 pounds, has a "buzz" haircut and a beard but no mustache, police said. The man's hair and beard were described as being the same length.
He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and might have been wearing earrings, police said.
The man was last seen driving a late 80s or early 90s model two-door vehicle, silver in color. The car is similar to a Honda Civic hatchback and has faded paint on its front. The wheels might not have hubcaps.
Anyone with information concerning the crime, or who may know the suspect, is asked to call the Metro Police Sexual Assault Section at (702) 828-3421, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
