LETTER TO THE EDITOR:
Conservatives’ rage an embarrassment
Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009 | 2:01 a.m.
What has the Republican Party become?
It has become a party of crybabies, whiners and name-callers. Never have I ever, in all my years, experienced such meanness and hatefulness toward a president of the United States who, by all common sense, deserves our respect.
Why is it that the ones who have everything (including insurance) are so angry? I get ashamed when I see the hatred displayed at the town-hall meetings. And yet the ones who have very little are the ones who are patient and hopeful.
What is wrong with health care for all? What is it that so many do not understand? The fact is if you are satisfied with the health insurance you have, you may keep it. Why prevent others from having the same?
Now the straw that breaks the camel’s back: Schools were told by conservatives not to let students hear President Barack Obama speak. What is that all about? How sad it is when we deny our students the right to hear and experience what their president will tell them.
This would almost be comical if it were not for the fact it is so sad.

Obama-America's embarassment. A sad pathetic excuse for a president.
What has the Republican party become: It has become a party of crybabies, whiners and name-callers. Never have i ever, in all my years, experienced such meanness and hatefulness toward a President of the United States who, by all common sense, deserves our respect. >>>>> (Yea I got to hand it to you LaRue your a fine Democrat) But where was the concern about are President between 1/20/01 To 1/20/09 the liberal news media and the Democrat party as well as 95% of all the collages in this country called him every dirty name in the book and then some. Well at least nobody thur there shoes at him yet.
"Now the straw that breaks the camel's back: Schools were told by conservatives not to let students hear President Barack Obama speak"
The straw was broken in 1991 when the Democrats held hearings into Bush's 1991 speech to high school students.
There is no straw to be broken. You guys smashed it up already.
"crybabies, whiners and name-callers."
In politics, the irony never ends....
I guess LaRue (love that name) wasn't around for the last eight years of continuous "Bush Bashing."
I've always liked the name "Lance LaRue." Now that's a name for a president.
Do you think LaRue has a copy of the President's Health Reform Bill?
I think I will change my posting name to LaRue...
What is wrong with healthcare for all? What is wrong is that the bill will be paid by the most productive and best people in the country? Who will benefit? Some overweight slob who sits on his couch every night and consumes a twelvepack of beer and smokes two packs a day. Some welfare queen who is pregnant, already has nine kids and doesn't know who the fathers of any of them are. Some 24 year old who has a Hundai with a five thousand dollar stereo in it and a four thousand dollar set of chrome rims on it. Some 66 year old who has a 24 foot boat, an RV, has his house paid for and refuses to take care of himself. He wants to leave it to his kids. What is right about giving free healthcare to someone who has not earned it? There is a lot wrong with free healthcare.
The 66 year old is already getting free healthcare/medicare and has earned it by paying taxes for 48 years. And he's probably not reluctant to helping the less fortunate or the sick who are eliminated from our healthcare system who didn't eat twinkies all their lives.
BE A MAN!
"It has become a party of crybabies, whiners and name-callers."
Well we heard a wild fairy tale last night from a crybaby, a whiner and a name-callers.
I cannot remember anything that Obama said about healthcare last night. What I remember is his snarling smack down of his opposition.
Obama in his address to the nation call opposition positions (Harry called them evilmonger and Nancy called them un-American) on 5 issues "a lie, plain and simple"
He also used the address to very publicly rebuke those he claims are stonewalling the process for political reasons.
Obama said "We've seen Washington at its best and at its worst...what we have also seen in these last months is the same partisan spectacle that only hardens the disdain many Americans have toward their own government. Instead of honest debate, we've seen scare tactics. Some have dug into unyielding ideological camps that offer no hope of compromise."
Obama said "My door is always open," but assailed the "bogus claims" he says his critics have pushed.
"But know this -- I will not waste time with those who have made the calculation that it's better politics to kill this plan than to improve it. I won't stand by while the special interests use the same old tactics to keep things exactly the way they are," Obama said.
Shumway-You be a man. People are not "less fortunate", whatever their situation it is their fault. If you cannot pay your doctor bills you are a parasite sucking off people who are better than you are. Can you pay your bills or do you need someone better than you are to take care of you.
Another true story:
44 year old man with no job and no insurance with diabetes and high cholesterol who is on only half the medicine that he should be on comes to Vegas for a vacation (vacation from what I can't imagine).
After three days of drinking, smoking and gambling at the MGM he develops chest and abdominal pain and goes to the emergency department (ED). He has acute inflammation of his pancreas and a stress test is abnormal.
He has to have a stent in his heart and spends 3 days in the hospital getting over the pancreas problem. The share holders of the private hospital that he went to have to eat the bill and of course the doctors have to provide the care for free since he can't be refused care in an emergency room.
You tell me what should be done? The hospital and doctors who work in and take call from the ED should be in love with an Obama takeover of health care. Few are. I wonder why? Hey, Joe Taxpayer, get ready to pick up the tab.
BE A MAN, LET THEM DIE! THEY ARE AT FAULT. FIRE UP THE GAS CHAMBERS. BE A MAN!
If you are not up to jib's standards you must be banished. Anyone above his level is to be revered and idolized because of what they have achieved economically.
BE A MAN!
Ah, LaRue:
What is wrong with health care for all, indeed. Is there a difference between health care and health insurance?
In the "Be careful what you wish for department" we have this little bit of fun from the Obama administration:
A guy who posts here is the manager of a group of restaurants that have 300 employees. He charges them 50% of their insurance premiums and so only about 20% of the 10-15$/hour employees elect/can afford this deal. So, 80% of his employees have no insurance.
He advocates for universal Medicare so that he can get out of the $215,000.00/year he spends on health insurance for the 20% who sign up for health insurance from him.
Obama said that he is going to charge an 8% tax on payroll for businesses that don't offer insurance. In my mind, charging someone who makes $15/hour what amounts to 4 days pay per month for health insurance is "not offering" his employees health insurance.
So what shape will he be in after Obama care? The math is (and I know you Libs hate talk about cost of your bright ideas, but") [300 employees x 15$/hour x 40 hours a week x 52 weeks per year x 8%} which is"..A tax of $748,000.00/year!!!! HOW ABOUT THAT!
This guy is going to go from a health insurance bill of 215K a year to almost 750K a year!! That's the funniest GD thing I have heard in a long time. Good luck, suckers!
Hey freeand...whatever,
How about that, huh? Pretty cool, right?
And this letter writers hypocrisy is an embarrassment. Obama has no where near received the hate and ugly bitterness George W Bush had to put up with for 8 yrs.
This is only the first 9 months of the first term. Just wait and the hate and ugly bitterness will improve and he will have more than George.
Do they give just anybody a forum around here? I got news for people like you little LaRue,The crybabies, whiners and name callers only put up with the likes of you so we can remind ourselves of how far a person can soil themselves!
Alf: Please be my guest if you want to pay the health care expenses for illegals, gangbangers, saggers, taggers, the indolent, and the general "layabouts" that pollute our republic. Please also respectfully understand that I refuse to participate in your government-sponsored Ponzi scheme.
Angry, you better believe it and you Femocrats ain't seen nothing yet!
Shumway-you are a slimy little weasel. Shut up and take care of yourself. Quit parasiting. Go get a job and pay for your own healthcare because nobody besides you cares if you have any.
Mikegino, your internet toughguy routine is simply hilarious. Using the internet to do things you are incapable of doing in real life. A legend in your own mind.

jlb101, you sir, are out of your mind. And out of line. Again.
Well, LaRue, that's good. "Never have I ever, in all my years, experienced such meanness and hatefulness toward a president of the United States"
So you were out of the country when Bush was in office?
The rest of that sentence - "who, by all common sense, deserves our respect." Close association with Bill Ayers, 20 years in J. Wright's church, his association with Acorn, apologizing to numerous nations for the U.S. and on and on. He deserves our respect? You've been hitting the Kool-Aid a little hard lately.
larry5:
George Bush was the worst president in history.
Nobody will ever forget that.
hamster: wrong agai, James Buchanan was the worst president. Bush is in the bottom ten, but clearly not the worst.
jahjah: are you a sgger, a tagger, or simply indolent?
mike germ:
