Gladys M. Morrison, 86, died Sept. 7 in Las Vegas.

A Henderson resident for 41 years, she was born July 28, 1923, in Portsmouth, England. She was a retired secretary for a newspaper and a member of the Church of England.

She enjoyed traveling around the world and loved knitting and music.

She is survived by her son, Andrew Morrison Brackenridge and wife Annette of Henderson, daughter Candachia “Candy” Schmidt of Las Vegas; grandchildren Joshua, Andrew Jr., Sara, Todd and Paul of Henderson and Kari Hunt of Nebraska; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis “Willie” Morrison.

Services will be held at 1:20 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Palm Mortuary handled the arrangements.
