Cornelia Boyd, 91, of Henderson died Aug. 28.

Born in Malvern, Ark., to Lamberth and Virginia Pearson, she was a member of Community Lutheran Church of Las Vegas, Mesquite Federated Women’s Club, Assistance League and a bridge club.

She is survived by children Sandra Burnett, Clark Boyd and Rebecca Boyd; grandchildren Alex, Joanna, Vanessa and Andy; and great-grandchildren Annabelle, Laurel and Oliver; daughter-in-law Jennifer Boyd, and grandchildren-in-law Jen, Brad and Jade.

She was preceded in death by husbands Leo Sorensen and Morris Boyd and son Richard Boyd. Her kind nature, generosity and wisdom will always touch the lives of her family and friends. Donations in Cornelia’s memory can be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice Foundation, Las Vegas, 796-3133.

Crown Memorial Center of Tualatin, Ore., handled the arrangements.
