LETTER TO THE EDITOR:
Democrats’ moves aren’t the right ones
Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009 | 2:02 a.m.
Regarding Richard Mundy’s letter to the editor in Wednesday’s Las Vegas Sun, headlined “Ignore tea party bluster; spending needed,” he states, “How quickly they have forgotten the terrible shape the country was in when Obama took over as president.”
Let me remind Mr. Mundy that we are still fighting two wars, the economy is still in the tank, banks are still failing, and the only reason the “Big Three” automakers are still in existence is because of the unconstitutional socialistic intervention of the federal government.
And as to his mocking the tea party, calling it a “circus,” these are Americans who are completely fed up with this elitist government, both Democrats and Republicans.
As far as the Democrats doing everything they can to get America back on track, I’ll have to agree ... except that they are doing everything wrong.

To be a politician is to do everything right for big business. These poor creatures have got to set the ground work for their future, so when they are voted out and are no longer needed in politics, they have their future laid out for them.
You have to ignore the American public if the President is going to achieve his goals. The American public will not stand for how he is governing, they wrongly believed his statements during the campaign.
The resignation of the green jobs czar today does not end the problem. Van Jones is a shining example of who Obama is and what he stands for. Jones was just Obama without the handlers and speech writers to keep him from honestly telling America what he really thinks and wants.
typical retarded republican nonsense...
just criticize...
offer no solution...
and simply ignore the fact that w the scum bag liar loser clown and cheney the evil doer hurt this country very very badly...
it will take a generation to recover from the harm they caused this once great counrty...
and throw in a little fear mongering for good measure...
sad...
truly sad...
An elitist government is not something that the American people need to survive it is a waste of time and embarrassing to have to look at. Save all that bull#hit for Europe!
powerplay:
The Bush-Cheney government was embarrassing to
look at.Who do you think your kidding?
Bush-Chaney kept us safe...
Obama-Biden kept us broke...
larryvegas:
Bush broke this country. We will never
forget that.
teamster:
Sorry... I can't help you with that Bush thing. You are just going to have to get over it yourself.
I saw a picture of a young lady wearing a t-shirt that said: "I may be broke but I am not flat busted"
