Fatal crash
A 26-year-old man was killed Halloween night when the car he was driving ran a stop sign and hit a concrete barrier in northwest Las Vegas, Metro Police said.
Nathaniel Allen of Logandale was transported in critical condition to University Medical Center, where he died a short time later, police said.
The crash happened about 5:50 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of North Hualapai Way and Grand Teton Drive. Metro said evidence at the scene and witness statements indicate the 2007 BMW Allen was driving was speeding north on Hualapai when it failed to stop at the sign at Grand Teton.
The car entered the T intersection and hit a concrete barrier, police said. It went airborne and hit a dirt berm before landing on its side in the desert, police said.
It was the 75th fatal traffic wreck in Metro’s jurisdiction this year. The crash remains under investigation by the Metro’s Accident Investigation Section.

We at Wolfson Lofts and it's fellow tenants love Nathan and his family and we are very sorry for this very difficult loss. He will always be remembered as a brilliant business man, friend and great family man. May God bless the Allen family.
May god rest his soul, from Cleveland, OH. Good bussinessman, many conversations on the phone, will be a loss.
He was innocent and its sad this happened... I wish the family the best and our prayers are with the allen family, his wife and kids.
Seriously and wackadoo...oviously you didn't know him or didn't have the pleasure to meet him! He was the most amazing and funny person you will EVER meet...WE LOVE YOU AND MISS WILL MISS YOU!
The entire staff at Park Street, Inc will miss the presents of Nathan. One of a kind person with wonderful compassion, a great mentor, superior businessman with integrity and a friend that we will truly miss. Not a day would pass that we did not communicate somthing with Nathan and with our utmost respect, and heartfelt sympathy to his family, his friends, business associates, we will all miss him. This is a serious loss to humanity and a friend that will be truly missed. Our blessings and spiritual uplifting to his family. Our loss, but Heaven's gain. For eternity he will be blessed and his legacy should be kept alive. Respectfully, Park Street Inc.

Nathan was a gift from God. We were blessed to have him in our lives for the past 26 years.
He was here for a purpose, and lifted many lives along the way. Strong, handsome, fiercely intelligent, with a drive that I have never seen in such a young man.
Nathan stepped out into the world of sales, marketing and business at 18 years of age, and never stopped. He was a natural born business man. He had a work ethic that few will ever achieve, and which made his accomplishments appear effortless. Those closest to him knew how hard he worked. To others, it was just magic.
As parents, we were blessed with a caring, and very close relationship. A perfect love.
I am proud to have had a role in creating this legend.
Until we meet again, I am living this life one day at a time.
Love always,
Dad
This is perhaps the saddest day of my entire life. I felt a bit like Nate's other "mom." For the past 3 months we shared office space together in Yelm. When he didn't return when he said he would - I would often worry about him. When he didn't return on Monday, I just assumed it was like every other time he had been delayed in his return. He had always answered my e-mails until this week. I learned more from him about human potential in those 3 short months than I have from another human being even though he was young enough to be my son. He always assured me he would be okay when traveling. Every day he was in the office by 8:00 and never left before 8:00 at night. My life has been altered forever both from having met him and having lost his presence in my office. It's all very surreal. Christina - call me!!!! Lynn Brewer
I am so proud to be able to say that Nathan is my cousin! He always had a smile on his face! When we went to Brinley Middle School, he was voted class clown in 6th grade!!! His smile was contagious, I always had fun with him! I remember when we were little and we would play hide and seek at Desert Custom, playing in the cars, even though we weren't suppose to! Nathan, I think about you everyday, all day, I am so sorry we lost touch, but I will see you again when God calls me home too! I love you, and always will. Aunt Cathy and Uncle Todd, I love you both so much, and pray for you everyday. You're right, he was a gift from God! I know this is hard, but we will all get through it, we're a strong family! Kristina, Tyler, and Brooklyn, my thoughts and prayers are with you everyday, please keep in touch, we are still family! God bless and keep you all.
Love, Amy
To the "Seriously" person...can't even begin to discuss how inappropriate and thoughtless your comment is. I won't waste my time or breath.
Nathan was like a brother. He grew up with us and was good friends with my brother, Ryan. We fought like a brother and sister too, but I loved him very much. I have fond memories of the different sleepovers when we were young(where I would have my friend, and Nathan would be over with Ryan). In the summer time, we would sleep on the trampoline, and we would all laugh and talk for hours. There was always laughter when Nathan was over.
I've heard Nathan became quite the businessman, and I am happy for his success. I am deeply saddened by this news, and my heart goes out to his young family, and his parents, Cathy and Todd. May God bless you with peace and comfort during this trying time. I love you Nathan.
This is crazy, I just found out about Nathan today, what a shock. Life is so fragile, so short, please love and respect the ones in your life because you'll never know when you will not have a chance too.
