For the next two weeks, high school football around the Las Vegas valley will be all about the seniors.
Most seniors will be playing their final football games and participating in Senior Night as the regular season draws to a close. Half of the teams finished off their schedules Thursday, while the rest will play one more game next week.
The playoff picture is nearly cemented, so the remaining games do not carry as much significance in the standings. But they can be used as a tune-up for the teams advancing and a chance to go out strong for those teams that aren’t as fortunate.
Below are recaps of Thursday night's action.
• Palo Verde beats Centennial, advances to playoffs
• Desert Oasis logs 49-0 victory against Western
