Strip billboard’s ‘real death panels’ message headed to D.C.

WASHINGTON -- It's not often that Vegas goes to the capital, but a sign of the times on the Strip -- a provocative billboard promoting the public option in health care reform -- is making its way to Washington.
The billboard calls the insurance companies the "real death panels," and has been viewed by more than 37 million bypassers in Las Vegas. Now a postcard replica is being delivered to every member of Congress, urging them to press forward on health care reform.
Americans United for Change, the group that has been active in Nevada with pro-health care reform ads, is behind the effort. It is delivering 541 postcard replicas of the billboard this week to offices on Capitol Hill.

I think it would be impossible for the billboard to have been seen by 37 million, even including multiple views by the same person. If they lie about that, what else are they lying anout?
Maybe they're counting each eye, and each time you blink while looking at it.
It is clearly a type. It would be more like 3.7 million based upon the length of time it has been up.
It could be 37 million. Advertising is insidious. We are exposed to far more messaging than we realize.
Who cares - it's true.
What billboard are they talking about i never saw it.
