Metro Police said a man wanted for allegedly beating and robbing two women, one of them over the age of 65, was arrested Saturday.

Police found and arrested 44-year-old Glenn Scruggs, also known as "G-Boy," and booked him into the Clark County Detention Center on charges of robbery, battery with intent to commit robbery, battery with substantial bodily harm and robbery of a victim over 60 years of age.

Scruggs had been identified after two women were beaten and robbed inside their home near Fremont and 11th streets, police said. An elderly woman had broken bones of her face during the attack and was taken to University Medical Center's trauma center where she was listed in stable condition.

Since one of the women was more than 65 years of age, charges against Scruggs could be enhanced, police said.
