Rep. Shelley Berkley’s health care forum planned Saturday
Friday, Oct. 23, 2009 | 8:54 a.m.
WASHINGTON -- The lively health care debates of August have long passed, but the town hall meetings on health care continue this weekend.
Democratic Rep. Shelley Berkley is keeping her promise to hold an open, live forum on health care reform with an event Saturday afternoon at UNLV.
The town hall forum will be held from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the first-floor theater of the Moyer Student Union on campus.
Berkley said that because health care reform is so important to her Las Vegas-area constituents, “I wanted to continue the healthcare dialogue we started over the summer.”
Prepare for a robust event. Even though summer has cooled to fall, the health care events are still drawing crowds.
For information on the location of the student union and parking options go to maps.unlv.edu/.

I and many others will be first in line. We can't wait to give this nut case a piece of our mind.
Not too big a piece, you don't have much to spare.
When is enswign going to have his? and where? at the Chicken Ranch?
Hey mred, this post is not about Ensign... You just love spreading your hate around...
Rep. Dina Titus delivered an able and intelligent explanation of her views and the pending health care legislation at her Town Hall last Monday. She answered every question in detail. I expect. Rep. Berkley will do the same. Going to give someone a "piece of my mind," like the first poster threatens is not engaging in productive dialogue.
It is about town halls. When is Enswign going to have his? Maybe he will go on one of the local hate-talk stations and field softball questions? like the ones Gibbons got.
Ok mred... I checked with Ensign's office and he and Reid are planning on a joint town hall event sometime in January in Elko. Do you need a ride???
Yup, I see Buckley has got her Halloween mask on early.
Berkley has her mind made up. Nothing more than a dog and pony show. I will cast my vote for her opponent next election. She really needs to be replaced as we can do better.
I attended the town hall held by Dina Titus and the mouth breathers started booing during her introduction. I expect more of the same from the ditto heads and their ilk at this meeting. Some of us will be there with open minds and listening for answers. The shouting mouth breaters are there to make sure that no one has an opportunity to learn. I pray that the intelligent arrive early and limit the seats available for for those who arrive with their duce caps glued to their heads. I want to thank Shelly for all of her work on behalf of the active military and Veterans.
Are you in bed with Enswigne too?
