Moapa Valley’s starters only played one quarter in Friday night’s 68-0 victory against Sunrise Mountain.
After the first quarter, Moapa Valley led 32-0.
“It was kind of a bloodbath,” Moapa Valley coach Brent Lewis said.
Moapa Valley improved to 5-3 with two games remaining before the class 3A playoffs begin.
“We are where we want to be,” Lewis said. “We need to keep going in with the same mindset.”
