It all depends on what the definition of “bachelor” is.

It all depends on what the definition of “bachelor” is. Gov. Jim Gibbons technically isn’t one but he will be part of a charity auction Saturday in Reno. Gibbons will auction off dinner for 12 — one woman was never enough for him — at the Governor’s Mansion, which might seem grotesque to some because his wife, first lady Dawn Gibbons, lives on the property. Perhaps Gibbons will invite his spouse as part the group date attraction — that ought to make it go for a higher price. If so, he probably ought to hide the sharp silverware. Now who else could the winner invite? Leslie Sferrazza? Kathy Karrach? What is Chrissy Mazzeo doing these days? And will he wear that napkin on his head for the party?

  1. GJG's personal life is between him, his wife (soon to be ex?), and God. As long as he's only dating (or whatever) consenting adults, I don't much care so long as his job performance is up to par (which it isn't, but that's a different story). Only good thing in highlighting this story is that the controversy, such as it is, may generate a few more $$$ for charity.

  2. Just like the ILLEGAL alien issue. He is still LEGAALY married. I guess principles are gone and people should just say that all laws have a gray area. His public trail should be the final nail in his political coffin. How much more can Jimbo ruin his last 15 months in office while he fleeces the taxpayers. Sandoval or Reid can't do any worse. I think Gibbons legacy will be the Governor who really did nothing.
