Leroy Dwight Simpson, who grew up in Boulder City and was most recently a resident of Lake Havasu, Ariz., passed away Oct. 12 at the age of 67.
He was born April 14, 1942, in Hollywood, Calif., to Bernice Irene Geiger and Robert Marshall Simpson.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years and sole lifetime partner, Joyce Ann Simpson of Lake Havasu; children Jon Simpson of Bullhead City, Ariz., Kourtney Burger of South Bend, Wash., and Victoria Jones and her husband Bill of Hesperia, Calif.; father Robert Simpson of Santa Rosa, Calif.; brothers Randy Simpson of British Columbia, Canada, Brian Wood of Boulder City, Jamie Wood of Apple Valley, Calif., and Steven Wood of Elk Grove, Calif.; eight grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, friends and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey Wood.
A funeral was held Oct. 17, and he was interred at Boulder City Cemetery.
Palm Mortuary handled the arrangements.
