Helen Craven, 86, of Chico, Calif., and formerly of Boulder City, passed away Oct. 17 at her home.

She was born in Karney, Neb., on Jan. 20, 1923, to Paul and Malel Hahn.

Helen worked as an electrician in Portland, Ore., during World War II. She moved to San Francisco where she meet her husband James Craven. They were married in October 1948.

Helen was preceded in death by James and is survived by her sons Roger Craven of Durham Calif., and Allen Craven of Virginia along with grandchildren Tania, John, Christopher, Travis, David and Joshua.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
