Jerry Springer got things started on Friday when he took a private tour of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health with clinic founder Larry Ruvo. The scandal-loving talk show host was in town for his new Vegas-based production, "America’s Got Talent Live!," which premiered at Planet Hollywood last week.

Holly Madison kept things going later that afternoon when she popped by Hofbrauhaus to tap the final keg for Oktoberfest.

Meanwhile, Dane Cook was across the street, at the Hard Rock Hotel, as he began a two-night stand at The Joint.

Ray Romano and his former “Everybody Loves Raymond” co-star, Brad Garrett, also kicked-off a Friday-Saturday pair of shows on Friday evening, and performed inside the Terry Fator Theatre at the Mirage.

The third and final two-night-stander of the weekend was Mariah Carey, who took to the stage at The Palms that night as part of her second stint of back-to-back shows at The Pearl.

Carey and her hubby Nick Cannon eventually made their way over to The Bank at the Bellagio after her Saturday night show, where they celebrated Cannon’s 29th birthday.

Also in the club that night were Aubrey O’Day and actor Makhai Pfeiffer.

In other Friday night music news, The Barenaked Ladies did their thing, sans Steve Page, out in Primm, while Jamie Foxx performed at Caesars Palace.

Foxx threw himself an unofficial post-show party at Lavo afterward, where the spotlight-loving (and Lavo-loving) star eagerly grabbed the mic to entertain clubgoers, backed by house DJ, DJ Five. Meanwhile, the performer's entourage took over a table in the VIP, where they drank Grey Goose, Dom Perignon and Patron.

Also in the Palazzo nightspot that night was recent Vegas installation Vanessa Minnillo, who had a few glasses of Champagne, sampling both Veuve Clicquot Grand Dame and Dom Perignon Rose.

Meanwhile, Carmen Electra continued her second 10-day guest spot with Crazy Horse Paris at MGM Grand. Electra will perform sans chemise through Oct. 17. (CHP is dark on Tuesdays.)

Also at MGM Grand on Friday, motocross riders invaded the Grand Garden Arena as the world’s richest motorcycle race, the Energy Drink Open, got under way. An array of dirtbike-riding greats, including two-time Rockstar Energy Drink US Open champion, Chad Reed, and reigning US Open champion, James Stewart, were there.

What’s more, Stewart hosted the Open’s wrap party at Studio 54 after the action came to a close on Saturday.

Fresh off his last-minute late night show at The Bank, international DJ sensation Tiësto traded teams and went from Light Group to N9NE Group on Friday and was spotted at Playboy Club at the Palms. The Dutch-born DJ reportedly arrived with six friends and sipped Perrier-Jouet at a VIP table.

According to what Tiesto told the Sun a few months back, champagne is his drink of choice when it comes to starting his night off right while in Las Vegas.

In other Light Group-for-N9NE Group swapping news, former "Saved by the Bell" hearthrob Mario Lopez played for both teams this weekend, officially hosting his birthday party at The Bank on Friday -- but also partied at the Palms, at Rain, that same night.

He was seen in the VIP with a dozen friends on Friday, and at the Palms again on Saturday as he had dinner at N9NE Steakhouse (with resort magnate George Maloof, no less, on Saturday.

Jermaine Dupri was also in town on Friday, and once again returned to the DJ booth at Privé. The Grammy Award-winner is practically a weekly fixture at the Planet Hollywood nightspot these days; it's a wonder the club hasn't made him a resident already.

Tyler Christopher, aka Nikolas from "General Hospital," was also in Las Vegas this weekend. The actor put in an appearance at Wal-Mart on East Serene Avenue on Saturday.

Later on that night, Kristin Cavallari of “The Hills” was at the Luxor to host at LAX. Also in the club that night: three-time Superbowl champ Willie McGinest, "Mindfreak" magician Criss Angel and tattoo artist Mario Barth.

Around the same time, rockers Motorhead were next door, at House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay, along with special guests The Reverend Horton Heat and The Chelsea Girls.

Adding to Saturday night’s musical offerings was former Doors members Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger, who, along with Brett Scallions of Fuel, performed at Wasted Space. The trio performed at Carey Hart’s rock ‘n' roll nightclub at the Hard Rock on Sunday night, too.

Though he wasn't performing any stand-up this weekend, Jay Leno came to Las Vegas on Saturday to attend the 2nd Annual Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Collector Car Auction at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. The comic and car enthusiast donated his Yamaha Star V-Max motorcycle to the sale so it could be auctioned off for charity. Bruce Willis also donated vehicles -- his 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible (which he bought while he was filming "Last Man Standing"), 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 and 1988 Lincoln Limousine (which was featured in “Die Hard”) -- to the fundraising event.

Later that night, Justin Timberlake had dinner at Tao before hitting the town to try his luck at the tables.

Also at Tao that night was comedian Carlos Mencia, who enjoyed a few rounds in the nightclub with his wife and some friends.

The celebrity sightings shifted into high gear over at the Palms on Saturday night, as actor Eddie Cibrian took a conspicuous seat at the bar at N9NE Steakhouse, sans LeAnn Rimes. He and two friends enjoyed a few drinks early in the night, leaving before 9 p.m.

Also in the restaurant that night was actress/producer Debbie Allen, who had the fall salad and some lobster bisque just after 11 p.m.

Hockey legend Gordie Howe was also in the dining room that night, sharing a meal with 14 of his friends. The retired NHL superstar went behind the scenes to chat with chef Barry Dakake in the kitchen after he finished his meal (he had French onion soup, the 24-ounce ribeye, and lobster mashed potatoes) and stopped to say hello to George Maloof before he left, too.

Another athlete at N9NE that night was pro golfer Natalie Gulbis, who has a quick dinner with some of her girlfriends. (She apparently had the sautéed sea scallops.)

Meanwhile, former baseball player Pete Rose had dinner at Nove Italiano with 15 others, including Dakake.

Top-rated European DJ Armin Van Buuren was also at the Palms on Saturday night -- though technically, he didn't take to the turntables until Sunday morning. The night owl started his set at 2 a.m. and thrilled clubgoers until close.

Justin Timberlake rounded out the weekend’s star-studded sightings, as he, along with Greg Maddux and Butch Harmon, hosted a youth golf clinic on Sunday afternoon at TPC Summerlin. The event was organized in conjunction with this week’s Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

The tournament gets underway today and will host a handful of celebrity participants, including Kenny G, Smokey Robinson, and Alice Cooper.
