CARSON CITY – Monica Moffatt and her two daughters gained a writ from the district court in Las Vegas in their suit against their neighbors for pointing a high camera into their back yard and videotaping the Moffatt family in their condominium for several years.

But the Nevada Supreme Court has overturned the ruling of District Judge Kathleen Delaney and ordered that Moffatt must first get mediation or arbitration before the family can submit its suit against Thomas Giglio, Kristen Doloskowski and the Estrella Homeowners’ Association in Las Vegas.

Giglio and Dolokowski, neighbors separated from the Moffatts by a back fence, were reportedly shining bright lights into the back yard and filming the Moffatts over a period of years.

The Moffatts alleged they complained to the Estrella homeowners' association (2864 Vigilante Court), and it failed to take any corrective action. A suit was then filed.

Giglio initially complained that Moffatt was allowing her dog to bark. Moffatt said a light was then set up. And she put up a screen to protect her family from Giglio and Dolokowski. But the homeowners’ association said the screen violated rules and had to be removed.

The Moffatts filed suit complaining their neighbor has interfered with their right of privacy.

  1. Don't know the entire situation, but I think everyone reading the story should go to the people's home that is filming the kids and have a serious chat with them.

  2. You don't know the whole story but advocate violence. Wow, nice one.

  3. I know the whole story. And in fact, I have the actual surveillance video recorder that Giglio/Dobkowski used to record Moffatts Children. Giglio/Dobkowski where racist. They tortured this poor family,.. Giglio even went to jail for the Football Stadium lights he installed. They recently moved to Boca Raton, Florida and made the paper. http://broward.thugshot.com/?p=13967 , she is looking at a mandatory 15 years sentence.
