Cheryl M. Ford, a resident of Boulder City since 1974, died Sept. 30.
She was born April 12, 1945, the daughter of John R. Galloway and Jean Bachrach.
Cheryl was a homemaker and a volunteer to many organizations, including the Grace Community Church Annual Country Store, Art in the Park, Boulder City Hospital Auxiliary, St. Andrew’s Catholic Community, political candidates and UNLV.
Her family includes sisters Karen Robinson and Shelley Lunger (husband Randy); brother, Dr. John R. Galloway (wife Tania); daughters, Debora Glover and Deanna Radulescu (husband Florin); grandchildren, Myles Glover, Hunter Glover, Julia Bozzano, Elise Bozzano and Cristian Radulescu; and nephew James Robinson.
A vigil will be held Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Community, 1399 San Felipe Drive. A viewing will be held from 9 to 9:45 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m. on Oct. 10 at St. Andrew’s. Burial at Boulder City Cemetery will follow the service.
The family requests memorial donations go to the Boulder City Municipal Pool.
Boulder City Family Mortuary handled the arrangements.
