Findlay Prep releases schedule, starts season Nov. 13

Findlay College Prep begins its national title defense at home, in the Henderson International School gym, against National College Prep of California on Nov. 13.
The Pilots’ schedule will take them to Illinois, Kentucky (twice), Ohio (twice), Florida (twice), Massachusetts, New Jersey and Texas.
They polished off a 33-0 season in 2008-09 by defeated Oak Hill Academy for the ESPN National High School Invitational championship in North Bethesda, Md.
Findlay coach Mike Peck is 65-1 in two seasons running the Pilots.
The foundation of this season’s team will be senior point guard Cory Joseph, and senior power forwards Tristan Thompson and Godwin Okonji.

Yep, Lenny, that will be a great stage. There are some scheduling quirks for area schools this season, but look for Findlay to play more locals in coming seasons.
