LETTER TO THE EDITOR:

If Palin’s book is so bad, then why is it a best-seller?

Regarding Mike Littwin’s column in Monday’s Las Vegas Sun headlined “Forget the book; the reactions are what’s interesting”:

Littwin, a columnist for the Denver Post, doesn’t like Sarah Palin’s book “Going Rogue.” He tells us Palin’s book is not as well written as Barack Obama’s books were.

It’s hard for most of us to compare the two authors. Thousands of copies of Palin’s best-seller were sold even before the release date, but there is no mention by Littwin of record sales of Obama’s books. How many, except columnists such as Littwin, have read them?

Littwin writes that Obama was “a mixed-race kid from Hawaii who channeled John Kennedy and became among the best and the brightest, not to mention most charismatic of his generation.” Wow! How can Palin beat that? She is only “a beauty queen who became governor of Alaska and raised a houseful of kids” — none of which has ever been accomplished by Obama.

The Sarah Palin haters are obsessed with the need to convince us that she is a menace to the health and welfare of the United States. But it’s Obama-care that menaces the health of U.S. citizens and will certainly destroy the U.S. economy.
