Fatal shooting
A man died Thursday afternoon after a possibly drug-related shooting in the parking lot of a business in northwest Las Vegas.
The shooting happened at about 1 p.m. in the parking lot of a CVS pharmacy, 7190 West Craig Road, at the intersection of Tenaya Way.
The man, who was wounded after several shots were fired, died while trying to leave the scene in his vehicle. He drove off, struck a tree and flipped his car, police said.
Authorities are looking for a man between 20 and 25 years old driving an orange sedan with a bad paint job, police said. He was described as black, between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 inches tall.

Orange is the color of protestant extremist groups in Northern Ireland, this is obviously a crime related to the IRA and the Ulster Defence force. If I was a metro self-dealer I'd visit Irish Bars in the area, if I wasn't attending a funeral.

I hope that those of you that left disturbing comments never have anyone in your family murdered. The young man that was murdered was a very, very close family friend of my family. No matter what this young man was engaged in, he in no way deserved to be shot down like a wild animal. I pray for you heartless humans. Have a little compassion for this family, they get to bury a teenager whom was loved!

Another man...could be a victim of a crime and the racist come out like roaches. The racist assume that the man that died was black, when the article only states that authorities are looking for a black man in a car with a bad paint job.
NLVPD solved the Nettleson crime in the matter of days. Lets see if Metro place as much value on this life.
The young man that was murdered was caucasian, what does that matter, what does the color of either of these young men matter, one man murdered another man, does that mean that he should go free? Why don't you go to the exit lane of the McDonalds on Craig and Tenaya and stand in the puddle of sand covered blood because last I checked we are all red on the inside. I have cried all night because of this loss, and for some dumb reason I am spending my time making sure horrible people like some of you know that this young man had family and friends that loved him too, I am one of them!

Everyone knows that McDonalds @Craig& Tenaya is a big drug buy spot. A now former prison guard got busted doing a large "buy" there. Can't we move the ghetto down to MLK? If they're all in one area then it'll be like shooting fish in a barrel. Whoever has the best gun wins!!
Thank you Jettguy 97. The color of either does not matter. What matters is the situation. Someone was killed. I happen to know the young man. No matter the color of the suspect, the point is, a poor 19 year old guy was killed yesterday. His family will be spending the next thanksgivings in mourning of their son's death. Thanks to all who are being respectful as to not post ridiculous comments in this serious matter.
I just feel so bad for his mother his father and step father his two sisters and his brother who love him, and will miss him forever. Also for his baby brother that will never have that chance to remember his big brother. He was a good person despite the situation and didn't deserve to be murdered!
IF it was drug related (and I said "IF") I cannot feel sorry for a "victim" who got himself into this situation. After all, drugs are illegal. Hopefully they'll catch the shooter and get him off the streets. People who use drugs will put the drugs before the family every time.
This man was a great person.He never wanted this to happen to him.I hate people who talk about someone they don't even know.He was my friend as well and i will never forget those days we shared on the football field together.I love you man....RIP

This happens everyplace - not just vegas - did u hear about he guy who came back to the party in Florida and shot 4 people?? dead dead dead one was 6 years old - so dont think that las vegas is the only place that has guns and shooting and killing. Maybe And it doesnt matter the color of who shot who - the guy in florida was white and he killed his white relatives -

We have plenty of black crime here in FL, they like to rob and shoot. These are the stories of robberies/shooting in the order I found them. No Caucasian robbery/shooting listed. It is just the way of life for the race, I am not being racist, just factual.

nowhere does it say he was convicted or even charged with anything at all. You are assuming that this was the case..they were at a store and someone shot him..maybe it is a simple a robbery and shooting..dont pass judgement unless you know or where there!!!!!

There was a couple Perry Mason episodes in the 50-60s that had Mexicans. At the end of the show Paul Drake was as a table at the Mexicans restaurant and was putting hot sauce on his eggs, the Mexican restaurant owner cautioned him that it was very hot. After taking a bit of the eggs, he had to drink water from a pitcher on the table.
With these stereotypes we have developed the dittohead talk radio neanderthal. Blacks eat watermelon. Mexicans have cast iron stomachs from eating chili peppers.
a car accident becomes a racial event, this is what talk radio is about, and talk radio has no Blacks or Mexican Americans on English speaking stations.

I can almost guarantee that none of you have lived good lives. we all end up on the wrong path sometimes and this is exactly the case here. McClain was a great guy anyone he met he got along with. he was the sweetest guy ever. We will all miss him so much.He was a brother, a son, a grandson, a nephew, and a cousin. Our family will miss him so much and our thanksgivings will never be the same. How can you guys talk all this crap? just think if it was someone close to you whether it is a family member or a close friend. you would be devastated too! so y'all should really think before you open your mouths when you don't know the person and when you don't know the person! Those of you that say McClain deserved to die, all I can say is, as a true Christian I will continue to pray that you or your families never experience this kind of loss. It saddens me to think that some people feel good about themselves, by saying, a drug user got what he deserved. All of you are just making assumptions that this young man had even used marijuana. I just can't wrap my head around your ignorance. McClain was truely a good person, with a good soul and he wouldn't harm anyone, he didn't deserve this. If you knew how wonderful his family is you would feel pain, because his entire family is filled with good people. While I am attending his funeral today, seeing the pain in his loved ones eyes and in those that cared about him, I will take a moment to pray for you. In the hopes that our Lord will somehow come into your heart, I pray he does. Rest in peace McClain, I am so sorry that you are gone, it's not fair.
