So many foreclosures, so much misery and despair -- and at least 40% needless.
Katherine M. Porter, a former UNLV law professor, in an analysis through the University of Iowa "found that 40 percent of the 1,733 foreclosures she studied did not contain proof that the plaintiff owned the mortgage." _ http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20071...
The banks and their many parasites, like MERS, have and are doing dirty by these homeowners. Why this state's powers that be refuse to address this very issue -- see "Campaign aimed at preventing foreclosure fraud" still on this web page -- shows Senator Reid, AG Masto, and the other bureaucrats on parade there are part of the problem. Apparently they're not interested in the REAL solutions.
