One of CityCenter’s properties held a special event Saturday to welcome its 400 new employees.

Mandarin Oriental’s Day of Delight included performances by local entertainers and a parade to show fans from all of the properties in the worldwide hotel group.

Department heads and managers participated by putting on a fashion show to display the 75 different uniforms that will be used at the property.

The 47-story Mandarin Oriental is a non-gaming hotel and residence in the southeast corner of the new CityCenter development.

The property is scheduled to open Dec. 4 with 392 guest rooms and 227 residences.

The facility also has a spa, outdoor swimming pool and six restaurants and bars.

MGM Mirage’s $8.5 billion CityCenter complex is on Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue.
