LETTER TO THE EDITOR:
Sympathy for bus drivers who deal with this rudeness
Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 | 2:01 a.m.
Regarding Marte Jones’ Thursday letter to the editor, headlined “Venting a little about rude people”:
I’d like to vent a little myself about rude people, specifically rude bus riders.
Hardly anyone rides quietly and respectfully on the bus. On a recent crosstown trip I saw:
• A lone person talking on a cell phone as loud as possible right behind my head.
• Another person singing along with a headset on, totally off key.
• Be prepared to hear the most foul curse words any punk could utter (in an attempt to impress one another).
Your heart will go out to the bus driver who remains kind and courteous to intoxicated, rude and disrespectful people.

Yes, I hate it when I order a bean and cheese burrito and there's hardly any cheese on the burrito. When I order a drink and there is more ice than beverage. I hate when people use the word "LIKE" in every sentence or use the words "YOU KNOW". People pull up next to you on the streets and all you hear is Boom, Boom, Boom coming from the vehicle. When kids have their pants around their knees and show you underwear.
