The weather service says today will be sunny and temperatures will climb to 50 degrees by 9 a.m., to 61 degrees by noon and to top out at 62 degrees by 2 p.m.

The normal high for today's date is 65 degrees and the record high was 78 degrees, set in 1940, 1949 and 1977.

Overnight, temperatures will drop to a low of 41 degrees by early Tuesday and climb to a high of 66 degrees Tuesday afternoon, with mostly sunny skies, forecasters said.
