This is the part of the high school football season the players have trained for all summer and fall — the playoffs.

There were only 12 teams left in Southern Nevada’s large-school classification entering Friday night's Sunset Region semifinals and Sunrise Region quarterfinals.

It’s should be an action-packed final month of the season as we close the books on another memorable season.
