Homeowner shoots intruder near Rancho Drive

Metro Police are reporting that a homeowner in the northwest Las Vegas Valley has fatally shot an intruder.
Officers were called to a residence near Rancho and Vegas drives, where a homeowner said the person who had been shot was trying to rob him.
Metro's homicide detectives are investigating the shooting.
Information about the man who was shot wasn't available this evening.

Alright, the guy is dead. Although I don't wish death on anybody, I'd rather see the intruder dead than the homeowner injured in any way.
Vegas at Rancho has not been in the NW Valley since 1985!
From now on use the 95 as the west boundary!

That's what his sorry @ss get! What's wrong with these people beating up the elderly, breaking in homes - What's next? Hell I reside in the NW for the last 6years and have never seen or heard of such acts until this year.
