The AVN Awards quietly announced last week that Kirsten Price and Kayden Kross will host the upcoming XXX gala at the Palms.
The 27th annual awards show will be held on Jan. 9 at the Pearl.
Prince, a 27-year-old former Hawaiian Tropic model, is known for her work with Wicked Pictures. Kross, meanwhile, is 24 years old and makes adult films exclusively for Adam & Eve Pictures after starting her career with Vivid Productions.
Both starlets are looking forward to hosting the event.
“I’ve wanted (to host the awards) since I found out what AVN was,” Kross said.
Price echoed her remarks. “I’ve been wanting to do this forever,” she said. “I’m really excited to do it.”
While the brunette has starred or costarred in more than 80 adult titles, her blonde co-host is a relative newcomer, having appeared in just over 25.
“I think we’re a good a team, two hot chicks—one with brown hair, one with blond hair,” Price said. “We’ll knock it out I’m sure.”
AVN founder Paul Fishbein called the dynamic duo a “can’t-miss combination.”
“These are two of the most beautiful, dynamic women in our business,” Fishbein said in a statement. “Both girls are funny, smart and engaging and have had great years both on and off the screen. … They were naturals to help us usher in a new era of the Awards Show at The Palms.”
Adult film actresses Belladonna and Jenna Haze hosted last year’s event, which was held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. The 2010 AVNs will mark the first time the gala event takes place at the Palms.
Keeping with tradition, the awards will be held in conjunction with the Adult Entertainment Expo, which will once again take place at the Sands Expo Center.
