A two-alarm fire ignited about 2:30 p.m. Monday, damaging at least one building in the northwest Las Vegas Valley.

Las Vegas firefighters responded to the scene at 7720 Horse Drive near Buffalo Avenue, said Tim Szymanski, spokesman for the Las Vegas Fire Department.

Firefighters found tanks containing some type of gas exploding, which spread flames from a large shed at the back and scorched a log cabin on the property, Szymanski said.

No one was on the property at the time and there were no injuries, Szymanski said. Building had taken place on the property in 1961, he said.

There were no animals on the property.
