Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009 | 1:19 p.m.

Shooting

Two people were shot late this morning in the central Las Vegas Valley.

Metro Police said both victims were taken to the University Medical Center trauma unit after the 11 a.m. shooting in the 1000 block of Weaver Drive. That location is northwest of the intersection of H Street and Owens Avenue.

The condition of the victims isn't known, police said. Investigators said the shooting might be gang-related.

  1. Man, 11 a.m. You have to give the gang bangers credit. After drinkin', smokin', dopin' and stealin', they got out of their beds in time to do some shootin'. Really dedicated people. I'll bet there's a trade at High Desert they might excel in. Like license plate fabrication?

  2. We don't know if it is gang related. Could be Metro target practicing.

  3. Yea and im sure that nobody saw nothing as usual.

  4. if you vote democrat, you caused this.

  5. if you vote democrat, you caused this.

Yes, not a single shooting ever, ever took place prior to voting democrat.

  6. democrats are soft on crime. if we gave the death penalty to criminals at an early age, they wouldn't go onto commit more crimes down the road.

  7. There's another $200,000 hospital bill the rest of us will pick up because Jose and Pepe wanted to shoot each other. Should have left them on the street until trash day.

  8. Don't you guys worry yourselves none. Rory Reid will see to it personally that we get the bill for taking care of the two injured in the shooting

  9. Just exercising their gun rights after purchasing weapons in the parking lot at the Cashman gun show.

  10. Hey 2zero: Those guns do not have little arms and legs and go out on there own this is nothing but criminal behavior at work here. I have 4 guns you don't see me out acting like an a-hole. Some people are just better off living in prison!

  11. please, some of you people need to come back to reality. You don't know what happened, This young man had a job, took care of his family, like men are suppoed to do. And to get shoot 6 times. Please!

None of you are GOD so stop jugdeing and condemning. Open your predigest eyes. Instead of talking crap why don't you help fix!!!!!!!!

  12. Princess13, Recess is over, so go back to your classroom and learn how to SPELL. Example; suppoed is spelled suppose, jugdeing is spelled judging and WTF is predigest? Why don't you help fix? What? Ebonics at it's finest.

  13. if you vote democrat, you caused this.

Dude, you cannot smoke crack and then try to post intelligently. Post intelligently, THEN smoke the crack.

  14. Or better yet, dont smoke crack

  15. codiggler: Jose and Pepe?? Doubt that. In that area it would be more like Amos and Andy... :-)

  16. Ah, yes. The outpatients are out in force today.

  17. Democrats do have a problem with being soft on crime. Fortunately, many are waking up to this. I am not for getting rid of the Democrat party, just lessening the influence that criminals, drug users, layabouts, and losers of all stripes have on the Democrat party.

  18. Burrittobandit2 is that the best you got? Please this isn't about me or your dumb ass. Weather i can spell or not, that doesn't change the fact you are an idiot! The man didn't deserve to die that way, get a grip!!!
