Robbery
Metro Police are asking for the public’s help to find two men suspected of robbing an elderly couple Thursday evening.
Police said two men knocked on the couple’s front door about 6:30 p.m. near Desert Inn Road and Theme Road in the eastern Las Vegas Valley and told the homeowners that their basketball had gone over the fence.
While the door was slightly opened, the suspects forced their way into the house and punched a man several times in the face. The elderly pair were then tied up and the suspects ransacked the house and fled with several items.
One suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 35 and 40, 6- to 6-feet-2 inches tall, weighing 220 pounds. The man was dressed in black clothing and carried a semi-automatic handgun. The second suspect is believed to be a black man between 25 and 30 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighing 190 pounds.
Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspects is asked to call Metro’s Robbery Section at 702-828-3591 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.

Scum comes in all shapes, sizes and colors.
May Metro find these two (?) and practice their "choke hold" technique.
Let the racism begin!
Several days before this happened, a similar attempt was made to gain access to an elderly couple's home in the same area by a white male posing as a service tech for an alarm company. I called the police for the couple, describing the person to the police. I was told to contact them if I see the person again. There may be a group of people targeting the area where the incident occurred. If you live alone in this area, please make sure that you know who you are opening your door for.
Maybe they should have open the door with a 357 mag pointed at them. Home owners have rights.
...One was 6-6ft2", 220lbs,...the other was approx. 6ft.,... gee, pretty easy pickins' when they are carrying about 400lbs between the two of them, have a semi-automatic weapon on top of it, and have a desire to pick out some elderly retirees' on TOP of that,..this sure is a scenerio that seems to keep resurfacing on an almost weekly basis...lets just leave the racism out of this and just look at it from the perspective of common human points of view,or of lack thereof,...and it seems like it most usually leads right back to the same ol' same ol', with the same ol'cast of characters
