Sharpen your spurs and shine up your belt buckle — it’s time for the Professional Bull Riders Championships.
Thursday, Nov. 5
Southern Fried Hoedown at The Las Vegas Country Saloon: Country Platinum presents the Southern Fried Hoedown at The Las Vegas Country Saloon featuring tunes from artists like Rascal Flatts, Dierks Bentley and Trace Adkins.
Stealing Angels at The South Point Showroom: Caroline Cutbirth, Jennifer Wayne and Tayla Lynn are known collectively as Stealing Angels. These young women are descended from American icons, including country great Loretta Lynn, film legend John Wayne and American folk hero Daniel Boon. See them performing free at The South Point Showroom.
2009 PBR World Finals at The Thomas and Mack Center: See all of the top bull riders from United States, Mexico, Australia, Brazil, and Canada compete in the 2009 PBR World Finals at The Thomas and Mack Center. Various rounds of the finals will continue until November 8.
LeAnn Rimes at Treasure Island: Country singer LeAnn Rimes will be performing live at Treasure Island. The multiple Grammy Award-winning singer got her start at the early age of 13 when she topped the charts with her album Blue. She will perform Thursday and Friday nights.
Friday, Nov. 6
Craig Morgan at Aliante Station: Country music singer Craig Morgan will be performing live at Aliante Station. Expect to hear hits like "That's What I Love About Sunday," "Redneck Yacht Club," "Little Bit of Life," and "Love Remembers."
Visit with the bulls at The Silverton: The Silverton Casino Lodge will offer a unique opportunity to bull riding fans as the bulls used in the PBR Finals will be on display in the parking lot of The Silverton throughout the weekend. Visit with the bulls and get to know their handlers for free.
Saturday, Nov. 7
Ho'Down Throw Down at McFadden's: McFadden's at the Rio will transform into McFadden's Ranch for the Ho'Down Throw Down featuring a mechanical bull riding contest from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. and cash and prizes for the best cowgirl outfit. Everyone can enjoy $1 PBR's.
PBR Draft and Justin McBride concert at The Silverton: Justin McBride will be performing live at The Silverton Casino Lodge following the Official PBR Draft where riders select their bulls for the finals. McBride, a former PBR champ in his bull riding days, made the successful transition to country music with hits like “Don’t Let Go” and “Love Me If You Can."
Sunday, Nov. 8
Final day of the PBR championships: Check out the culmination of the 31-city 2009 Built Ford Tough World Finals as the next PBR champ is crowned.
Big Kenny at The Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip: Hard Rock Cafe and KWNR 95.5 will present a concert and Three Square fundraiser featuring Big Kenny of the country duo Big and Rich. Big Kenny will be debuting material from his new The Quiet Times of a Rock and Roll Farm Boy album.
Monday, Nov. 9
Jo Dee Messina at the House of Blues: Country singer Jo Dee Messina at the House of Blues. Expect hits like "Lesson in Leavin'" and "Heads Carolina, Heads California."
