Five-car crash disrupts traffic in northeast valley

Crash location

A five-car crash shortly after 4 p.m. today has snarled traffic in the northeast Las Vegas Valley, Metro Police said.

At least one person was taken to a local hospital from the East Charleston Boulevard and Lamb Drive intersection, Officer Jay Rivera said.

Police are asking motorists to avoid the area of Charleston and Lamb while traffic officers investigate the collision.
