While the star sightings hardly stopped during the work week –- hot couple Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy were in town; Nelly continued his Memorial Day celebrations; and former Oakland Athletics designated hitter, free agent Frank Thomas marked his 41st birthday – the weekend is here and once again is bringing a handful of celebs with it.

Christina Aguilera will kick things off tonight as she hosts a party at Tao in honor of jeweler Stephen Webster’s 2009 collection.

Also tonight, porn crossover princess Sasha Grey will host a party to mark the premiere of her first mainstream movie, “The Girlfriend Experience.”

Earlier in the day, “I Love College” rapper Asher Roth will stop by Wet Republic. Instead of hiding out in a VIP cabana all afternoon, however, Roth will give a live performance after he arrives at the MGM Grand’s pool at 3 p.m.

Mark McGrath will return to his unofficial second home tonight when his band, Sugar Ray, plays the Friday night pool party at the Hard Rock.

Also performing in Las Vegas tonight, punk rockers Pennywise will take over the House of Blues a part of the Jagermeister Music Tour. Death By Stereo will also perform.

The Palms will host a concert of their own tomorrow night as the Offspring play the Pearl with special guests Alkaline Trio and Street Dogs.

Saturday night, former Spice Girl and current “Peepshow” star Mel B will host US Weekly’s “Hot Bodies” party at Tao.

Over at the Palazzo, meanwhile, a handful of stars of varying brilliance will attend a private party in support of Autism nonprofit, the Lili Claire Foundation.

The party is being billed as 'Spring Bling' and is being presented by jeweler Simon G.

The event will feature reality show mother and daughter duo Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian, who will host the event, and performances from Grammy nominees Sara Bareilles and Colby O’Donis.

Shari Belefonte, Vanessa Minnillo and one-time “American Idol” contestant, Chikezie, will also be there.

The youngest of the Kardashian sister trifecta will host a public afterparty inside the Palazzo in the lounge of Dos Caminos immediately following the poolside festivities. The post party party will start at 11 p.m. and admission is by a suggested minimum donation of $10 to Lili Claire.

As the weekend comes to a close, DJ sensation Tiësto will return to Las Vegas for his third show in seven days when he plays the site of New Orleans Saint Jeremy Shockey’s collapse last weekend, Rehab.

Here’s hoping poolside partiers have learned from Shockey’s Memorial Day Weekend mishap and will keep themselves well-hydrated during this week’s edition of the Hard Rock’s iconic Sunday afternoon splash fest.
