Three shot at North Las Vegas house party

Two teenagers and a 23-year-old man were shot Friday night at a large house party in North Las Vegas, authorities said.

Officers responded at 10:10 p.m. to a report of shots fired in the 200 block of Patriot Sword Avenue, which is near West Lone Mountain Road and North Commerce Street. Police arrived to find the three victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

The 23-year-old man, from Las Vegas, was taken to University Medical Center's trauma unit in serious condition, police said. A 15-year-old girl and a 19-year-old man, both from North Las Vegas, were taken to UMC with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening.

Police weren't releasing the names of the victims.

Investigators said the three were attending a large party at the home when the shots were fired. Police weren't releasing information early Saturday about possible suspects in the shooting.
