House party shooting
Two teenagers and a 23-year-old man were shot Friday night at a large house party in North Las Vegas, authorities said.
Officers responded at 10:10 p.m. to a report of shots fired in the 200 block of Patriot Sword Avenue, which is near West Lone Mountain Road and North Commerce Street. Police arrived to find the three victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
The 23-year-old man, from Las Vegas, was taken to University Medical Center's trauma unit in serious condition, police said. A 15-year-old girl and a 19-year-old man, both from North Las Vegas, were taken to UMC with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening.
Police weren't releasing the names of the victims.
Investigators said the three were attending a large party at the home when the shots were fired. Police weren't releasing information early Saturday about possible suspects in the shooting.

Just hope they had health insurance. Must have been a misunderstanding.
What else would we expect from NLV? NLV is and will always be crime ridden heaven and we shouldn't expect anything less from the people. Why work, Obama is president, we're not to blame, blame everyone else for our actions and short comings.
One should ask, why did the parents allow the minor to go out in the 1st place? Put the parents in jail for the minor being out at a party when the minor should've been at home in bed and not a party.
To lump all of North Las Vegas in the "crime ridden" definition is in a word, unjust, its2hot. You assume that all of North Las Vegas is that way, I have news for you. Having been raised in North Las Vegas, not all of North Las Vegas is "crime ridden". Yes, there are parts of it that are known to be higher crime areas than others.
If the party didn't have parental supervision, then yes I agree that the minor or any other minors should not have been there.
Nonetheless, 3 people were hurt and that is never a good thing.

Look, both the republican and democratic parties need to be abolished.
We should raise ammunition taxes to fund schools, we can't take the guns away but we can make it more expensive to shoot them!
I am sure a little education will help these kids make better choices!
What part ot north las vegas is good? I'be been looking to purchase a rental home out there and looking in many different areas of NLV and everyspot looks to have more then enough crime compared to the rest of the valley. Houses from Tropical and 5th, to ann and camino del norte and acrosee the 15 all have too much crime for me to even buy a house I AM NOT GOING TO LIVE IN!!!

Really??? It's the Presidents fault that a 15 yr.old was at a party? FREAK! I don't know about any of you, but I went to plenty of parties when I was a teenager. Birthday parties, grad. parties, and yes, keggers... Maybe it was a family gathering kind of party, do any of you know for sure? People just jump to any conclusion these days.
To say that Obama is a doing a crappy job is just ignorant. He's only been in office a couple of months and trying to clean up after that fool Bush is going to take a hell of a lot longer this!

If you don't like the north, then don't buy there. It's really not brain surgery or rocket science. There are good and bad areas in LV just like any other American city. DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
