Beyonce to perform in Las Vegas

Beyonce to put on four shows at Encore

Beyoncé Knowles is coming to Las Vegas and she’s bringing Sasha Fierce with her.

The stunning songbird will heat things up at the Encore this summer with four very special, “I am… Yours” shows.

Knowles’ entire stage show will be reworked and tailored to fit the Encore Theater for the exclusive and intimate engagement.

The performances – which were announced earlier today and are scheduled for July 30 and 31, and August 1 and 2 – will be Knowles’ final North American tour dates this year.

Organizers say the four-night spectacle “promises to showcase the artist like never before.” What’s more, the concerts will be videotaped and footage will be used in an upcoming DVD compilation.

The concert will provide fans with the chance to be as up close and personal with the Grammy Award-winning star as possible. The venue, which seats just shy of 1,500 people, is the smallest stop on Knowles’ entire tour.

In an exclusive deal with Encore, tickets are being sold as vacation packages that include accommodations at the resort. The room-seat pairings range from $250 to $1,000, plus tax and service charges.

“A limited number” of ticket-only reservations will be made available, according to Wynn Las Vegas. Resort officials did not disclose how many room-free, seat-only seats would be sold.

Still, all four shows will likely sell out within minutes of going on sale this weekend. Passes and packages will be available by phone (702-770-DIVA) on Saturday starting at 10 a.m.

Encore has also created a special Web site with information, as well as yet-to-be-announced “special offers and promotions” about Knowles’ upcoming performances.
