Armed robber sought by police

Metro Police are asking the public's help in identifying and finding a man who robbed a convenience store clerk at gunpoint in March.

The man walked into a convenience store in the 3400 block of Tropicana Avenue about 1:30 a.m. March 14, police said.

The man displayed a black handgun and demanded money. He took an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the store, police said.

The man is described as a black man, 25 to 30 years old, 6-foot-2- inches tall and weighing 190 to 210 pounds, police said. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, black T-shirt, blue jean short and armed with a black handgun, police said.
