Drowning
Metro Police and the Abuse and Neglect Unit are investigating the drowning of a 3-year-old girl in a backyard pool Saturday morning.
The Clark County Coroner's Office identified the child today as Hannah Nicole Bridges of Las Vegas. The cause and manner of her death are pending, a spokeswoman for the coroner's office said.
The drowning occurred in the 9800 block of Frosty Canyon Court in the south central Las Vegas Valley.
Police said the girl's parents found the girl unconscious in the pool and took her to St. Rose Dominican-Siena Campus. Bridges was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Investigators believe the girl went through a sliding screen door to get to the pool.

"Metro Police and the Abuse and Neglect Unit are investigating ..."
This shows the need to wean the Metro off its bloated budget. This is a tragic accident, not a crime scene. It's obvious the "Abuse and Neglect Unit" is just looking for work to justify its existence, along with the prosecutors and other parasites.
Government sticking its snout in the trough of this family's grief is outrageous.
