A bicyclist killed Saturday morning by a suspected drunken driver on the Las Vegas Strip was identified today as 55-year-old Bryan Russell Lewis of Las Vegas.
Lewis died of multiple blunt force trauma injuries, a spokeswoman for the Clark County Coroner's Office said.
Investigators said 32-year-old Melody K. McLallen struck and killed Lewis as he was riding a bicycle on Las Vegas Boulevard, south of Russell Road, at about 6:44 a.m. Saturday. She was arrested moments later after leaving the scene of the crash, Metro Police said.
McLallen was charged with felony DUI with death and felony hit and run with death, and booked into the Clark County Detention Center, police said.
