Sex assault
A 75-year-old woman taking her daily walk was kidnapped and sexually assaulted by a man early Monday morning, Metro Police said.
The assault took place behind a trash bin in the area of Sahara Avenue and Valley View Drive, police said. The man approached the woman from behind and dragged her to a trash collection area, police said.
He is described as an black man, 5-foot-7-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, police said. He has short and curly brown hair, a round, clean-shaven face, and pierced ears with gold-colored studs. He was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans, police said.
