A 19-year-old facing murder charges in the killing of Palo Verde High School freshman Christopher Privett pleaded guilty today to voluntary manslaughter with a deadly weapon and accessory to murder in connection with the Feb. 15, 2008, drive-by shooting.
Privett was shot to death as he walked home from school.
Ezekiel Williams said that he handed his co-defendant, 17-year-old Gerald Davison, the murder weapon just before Davison shot at Privett. Williams also drove the vehicle involved in the shooting.
Davison has said he is not accepting a plea deal yet.
Williams faced multiple charges, including murder, attempted murder and assault and battery before he opted for the plea agreement. He is expected to serve eight to 20 years in prison.
Davison still faces a trial.

It's scary to see such racism on the comments left on this site.
Ds Gentle Master a disgrace.
These gangsters are pathetic and need to be exterminated.
Thank you Mary Manning and the Las Vegas Sun. Thank you for showing a photo of the innocent victim. The late Christopher Privett, is rightfully the main subject of this issue. My sympathy to his family and friends.
I think pictures of all three would be reasonable. I wanna see what the young crooks look like so I can finger my concealed carry weapon whenever I see people like them walking about.
Ah, all it takes is a short internet search to uncover the data. Sweet.
