Homeless man sought in Monday homicide

Metro Police are seeking a homeless man in connection with a homicide that occurred Monday.

Officers went to the area of Grand Central Parkway and West Charleston Boulevard about 8:50 p.m. Monday after receiving reports of a man lying on the sidewalk, police said.

Homicide detectives found 26-year-old Patrick Kelly dead from a beating, police said.

Detectives investigated and identified Bryan Dryden as a person of interest in the attack, police said.

Anyone who has information about the homicide is urged to call the Homicide Section at (702) 828-3521. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555. An anonymous person may be eligible for a cash reward if a tip leads to the arrest and conviction of a suspect.
