Michael Crowe, AIA, LEED AP, is principal and director of the Public Studio at JMA. A native of Oklahoma, he graduated from The University of Tulsa with a fine arts degree and earned his master’s degree in architecture from The University of New Mexico. Crowe joined the firm in 2000 and is responsible for implementing sustainable best practices throughout JMA, the first architecture firm from the state of Nevada to join the U.S. Green Building Council. Crowe currently serves on Henderson’s Development Code committee. He is a past president of the USGBC Nevada Chapter and is an editor of the LEED CI Sample Exam. Crowe is also a past president of American Institute of Architects Nevada and a recipient of the AIA Service Award. He served on the city of Las Vegas 2020 Master Plan committee. Established in 1945, JMA is one of the largest architecture firms in Southern Nevada.
