Jack A. Rappaport, CCIM, moved to Las Vegas as a young boy in 1965 with his family that was already established in the local real estate profession. He received his real estate license in 1978 and went to work in the family owned firm. In 1996, he formed R&R Commercial Real Estate Services a full service commercial real estate firm, specializing particularly in the areas of leasing, sales, build-to-suits and investment real estate. Having achieved the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member designation in 1994, Rappaport served as president of the Southern Nevada CCIM Chapter in both 1994 and 1995. He has served the CCIM Institute as vice president of Region II, chairman of regional activities committee and member of the governing council. He has also served as education chairman of the commercial investment division of the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors. Rappaport is president of the Alfred & Marjorie Rappaport Foundation, a nonprofit foundation founded to encourage and foster the performing arts in Southern Nevada. The primary beneficiary of the Rappaport Foundation is "Introduction to the Arts," a program under the auspices of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, which focuses primarily on Southern Nevada students, offering free admission to a variety of Vanda Master Series events in the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ Performing Arts Center.
