David Cousley, AIA, NCARB, is vice president of architecture for TKC Design P.C., a firm affiliated with The Korte Co. The Korte Co. is a fully integrated design‐build contractor that provides single source project delivery. The Korte Co. has offices in Highland, Ill., St. Louis and Las Vegas. Cousley has 19 years experience in architecture, planning and consulting, including international assignments in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. He moved to Las Vegas in 2005 to open the Las Vegas
office of TKC Design P.C. Cousley has been closely involved with Corporate VI Office Center, an American Nevada Corp. project that includes a 140,000-square-foot office building and a 400-car parking garage; Nevada Cancer Institute Support Services Building, a 100,000-square-foot office building with a 500-car parking garage; and NVCI’s Research Laboratory Facility, which is a 180,000-square-foot facility, plus
more than 300,00 square feet of first-class tenant improvements in multiple office buildings in the Las Vegas market. Cousley has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois, and a Master of Architecture and Master of Business Administration from
Washington University in St. Louis.
